The three parts of a taxi fare

Our tariff is public and applies to all rides without a flat rate. It has three parts:

  • Base fare: a fixed amount per ride, CHF 6.00.
  • Price per kilometre: CHF 4.40 to 7.40 per kilometre, depending on the tariff level.
  • Waiting time: CHF 65.00 per hour, if we wait at your request or you come later than agreed.

No VAT is added. All amounts are final prices in Swiss francs.

Which tariff level applies?

The price per kilometre depends on two things:

  • Time of day and day of the week: during the day from Monday to Saturday the lower level applies. At night and on Sundays and public holidays the higher one applies.
  • Number of passengers: up to 4 passengers the lower level applies; 5 to 7 passengers travel in the larger vehicle at the higher level.

For a return trip we charge each ride at the level of its own pick-up time. The exact times and amounts of each level are in the table on the prices page.

Estimated fare: know the price before the ride

When you make a request and in the price calculator you see an estimated fare straight away. It is based on the calculated route without traffic and on the tariff level of your pick-up time. With our confirmation the price becomes binding before you get in.

What can change the price: stops, detours or an extra destination at your request, more passengers or luggage than agreed and waiting time beyond what was agreed. A surcharge of CHF 5.00 may apply for luggage that was not announced. So state your luggage in the request straight away.

Flat rates to the airport

For the ride to the airport a fixed flat rate per ride applies from many places in Aargau, for 1 to 7 passengers. To Zurich Airport: Spreitenbach and surrounding area CHF 100; Baden and surrounding area CHF 130; Brugg, Windisch and surrounding area CHF 150; Wohlen and surrounding area CHF 180; Lenzburg, Holderbank and surrounding area CHF 200; Döttingen and surrounding area CHF 200. To EuroAirport Basel: Spreitenbach and surrounding area CHF 340; Baden and surrounding area CHF 310; Brugg, Windisch and surrounding area CHF 280; Wohlen and surrounding area CHF 340; Lenzburg, Holderbank and surrounding area CHF 310; Döttingen and surrounding area CHF 280.

If you book the outward and return ride together in advance, you get a 10 % discount on both rides. Which neighbouring villages belong to which area is listed below the table of flat rates.

Groups, day trips and companies

  • From 8 passengers we drive a minibus or coach, on quotation. You receive a written offer.
  • Day trips and chauffeur service are also charged on quotation, depending on destination, duration and number of passengers.
  • Companies ride according to our tariff and, if they wish, receive a monthly invoice with all rides. For regular routes a fixed price on quotation is possible.

How you pay

In the vehicle you pay at the end of the ride in cash, with TWINT or by credit card. Companies and institutions with a business account pay by invoice within 30 days.

Four tips that save money

1. Announce your luggage: then no surcharge applies, and the vehicle fits. 2. Book the outward and return ride together, to the airport with a 10 % discount. 3. Agree waiting time in advance: agreed waiting time is stated in the confirmation; unexpected waiting time is charged according to our tariff. 4. Travel during the day if you can: from Monday to Saturday during the day the lower price per kilometre applies.
